How to fill in each field
Order & PO reference
Assign a sales order number and reference the customer's PO if any.
Common mistake: No linkage to the PO, breaking order tracking.
Confirmed items & prices
List exactly what was agreed — items, quantities and prices.
Common mistake: Discrepancies with the PO/quote that surface at invoicing.
Delivery date
State the agreed ship/deliver-by date for fulfillment.
Common mistake: No delivery date, causing fulfillment confusion.
Status
Track the order status (confirmed, fulfilled, invoiced) internally.
Common mistake: No status, so it's unclear what's been shipped or billed.
